Like many other people, I spent a lot of time trying to find a media console that struck the right balance between cost, functionality, and quality. My criteria were pretty specific: I wanted a media console with maximum airflow through the front slatted doors, holes in the back for cable management and airflow, and enough depth and width to comfortably hold all of my electronics. One of the main things I looked into was the company itself, POVISON. I read a lot of Reddit posts, both good and bad, as well as Trustpilot reviews. Based on the reviews, it seems like POVISON did not receive many positive reviews several years ago, but over time, they appear to have significantly improved. Most of the negative reviews were related to long delivery delays or slow communication with customer service. However, once people actually received the product, they generally seemed satisfied with it. I ultimately decided to go with POVISON because, overall, more people seemed satisfied and happy with their products than those who had a bad experience. For customers who did have issues, it also seemed that POVISON often attempted to reach out and resolve the problem. Filtering by the most recent reviews and comparing the number of positive reviews to negative ones helped me finalize my decision. Another major factor was that the Ravenna Minimalist Slatted Media Console was one of the only media consoles I could find that had slatted doors all the way across and cable management holes in the back of each section, not just the middle section. My Experience My overall experience was positive. I purchased the room-of-choice delivery service option for $119 because I live on the third floor, and I also opted for the shipping insurance because I did not want to take any chances with delivery. POVISON did a good job shipping the item within 48 hours, and I was able to see all of the tracking history. Once it got to the shipping company, Total Truck Transport, things started to get a little weird. They initially called me to schedule the delivery, but I was on a work call. When I called back, no one answered, and I could not leave a voicemail because their voicemail box was full. I had to call about seven times throughout the day before someone finally answered. After speaking with the representative, I scheduled the delivery for the next day between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. I was preparing for the worst because, unlike POVISON, Total Truck Transport did not have many good reviews online when I purchased the product. To my surprise, they arrived on time and closer to the 12 p.m. timeframe. They brought the console upstairs, unpacked it, and placed it in my living room. On top of that, they even assembled the feet, even though technically they were only supposed to bring it to the correct room. I even offered to do it myself, but they insisted they could take care of it. To me, they were on time, cordial, and went above and beyond with their service. So, I don’t know—maybe Total Truck Transport is trying to turn things around? As for the product itself, I am very happy with it. The build quality is great, it is spacious, and the holes in the back are nicely aligned with the top and bottom shelves. The holes on the sides of the shelves are also a nice addition because they make it easier to connect wires from the middle shelf to the side shelves. As for the color, some people have complained that it is not a true walnut color, but I think it is fine. I am happy with it. To me, it is close enough to the product photos that it is not a deal breaker. Plus, I actually like the way the color of the console looks under the lighting in my living room. The slatted doors and hinges feel strong and are not wobbly when opened. My favorite part is the soft-close feature on the slatted doors, as you can see in the video. The height is also good, although I would have preferred it to be a little higher, around 24 inches. Overall, I am glad I made the investment. Product Improvements There are three upgrades I would have liked to see on this console: 1. Depth: Although the console is a little less than 15.5 inches deep, I would have preferred it to be a little deeper—maybe around 18.3 inches, like the Arboren Console—so that some larger receivers could fit more comfortably. 2. Removable back panels: I would like all of the back panels to be removable, with the ability to unscrew them as needed. 3. Height: The height is good, but if the body of the console were just a couple of inches taller, around 24 inches total, it would allow taller items to fit inside the console more easily.

We really like the 79" Ravenna. It balances the TV well. I needed something that allowed for taller, deep components - it fits my receiver perfectly (which is 7" tall, and needs enough depth to allow for all the cable connections in the back). The slotted doors allows me to keep it closed while allowing full use of my remotes, with plenty of air flow.

Great quality and solid build. I appreciate the open ventilation in the back which allows for airflow and easy cord management. The slatted doors do not interfere with IR signals and the shelving is deep enough to accommodate a fairly large receiver.

Very disappointed. The finish is applied unevenly and looks kike a cheap spray tan. The cabinet fronts don't line up. And I honestly think it should be illegal to call this "walnut color"... It's orange.

This TV stand fits perfectly in our living room. We’ve placed our receiver, Blu-ray player, and other devices inside, and it keeps everything organized and out of sight. The depth is ideal for all our equipment, and the slatted design allows for great airflow. One minor thing to mention is that the back of the unit isn’t removable, so it’s something to keep in mind when organizing cables. It wasn’t an issue for us, but if you’re planning to move wires in and out frequently, it’s worth considering. Overall, we’re really pleased with the purchase — it looks great and works perfectly for our setup.
